GREEN HIT has officially named their fan club the "Greenies". Incidentally, the honor of being the first official member of this group belongs to Heidi Shonka. THANK YOU HEIDI! and HELLO GREENIES! MUCH MORE INFO to come on this exiciting new development.

This news comes after GREEN HIT's memorable showing at both Bear Creek Music Festival and their first "ALL INCLUSIVE, ALL NIGHT" party at Jake's Tavern in Tallahassee. These shows found the band connecting on levels 11 and 12 (Previously only Level 10 had been achieved). The Jake's Tavern show was an "ALL INCLUSIVE" event where fans were treated to a FREE buffet prepared by InMyTreeLive's personal Chef "SAM". Not to mention the hot oven fresh cookies and hot cocoa during set break, as well as the FREE All YOU can Drink kegs of Dogfish Head 60 mintue IPA, Shocktop, Newcastle, and PBR.

GREEN HIT performed 3 sets of music, including one new song, "WE ARE LIGHT". Special guest Speyeral performed as well, to the delight of the Tallahassee faithful. The artists sets were seamless.

Are YOU coming to see GREEN HIT for NEW YEARS EVE? A link to info for the event is located in the live calendar to the left. GREEN HIT and InMyTreeLive! have gotten the Holiday Inn in Historic Downtown Mobile to provide patrons of the GREEN NEW YEAR party a block of rooms for NYE 2010. The contact info is as follows: Holiday Inn Downtown Historic, 301 Government Street, Mobile - (251) 694-0100. If you wish to purchase a room for new years eve, so that you may crash after the GREEN NEW YEAR party, you may do so at a reduced rate. Call the hotel, ask for "in house reservations", and then mention the "Green New Year Block". You will be able to reserve your room at a rate of $90 a night instead of the normal new years rate of $130. We feel this will be very beneficial to any out-of-towners who needed the added accommodation of a room in order to make this trip possible. However, in order to secure this reduced rate, you MUST book your room by 12/28/09.

We are currently working on a few new tunes that will be the cornerstones of GREEN HIT's third CD release, destined to be the most eclectic and well-crafted effort to-date.

GREEN HIT's music appeals to a wide spectrum of people, because we are a wide spectrum of people. Our influences range from Afrobeat to Electronica to Post-Rock and all the way back again. We won't sing you songs, instead we let the mood and feel of the music communicate all that is neccessary. When Green Hit shows up at you local venue, you can expect a grand production with a stellar intelligent light show. We've recently been moving into some more experimental spaces with our live shows, incorporating multiple synthesizers, tones, and colors that are unique in any genre. We perform only original music. We never play it the same way twice. It's definitely worth checking out.

Green Hit is based primarily along the Gulf Coast of Florida, but has played as far from home as the Virgin Islands. We've played some great shows in the past few weeks, all the way from Camp Jam near Orlando to a pre and post set in Orange Beach, Alabama, right around the corner from a Panic show. The Warehouse in Tallahassee was a highlight as well, and anybody who makes it to a night at Amore is in for an up-close, laid-back night of music, food, and drink. Hope to play for you soon...
