GREEN HIT's music appeals to a wide spectrum of people, because we are a wide spectrum of people. This band was started by a few young musicians with a clear vision of a groove, and that has not changed over time. The band has grown and evolved using a careful process of subtraction and addition, and now our ages span from early twenties to early thirties, and our influences range from Afrobeat to Electronica and all the way back again. We won't sing you songs, instead we let the mood and feel of the music communicate all that is neccessary. When Green Hit shows up at you local music spot, you can expect a full-on production. We've recently been moving into some more experimental spaces with our live shows, incorporating multiple synthesizers, tones, and colors that you won't hear on the radio. We perform only original music. We never play it the same way twice. It's worth checking out.
Green Hit is based primarily along the Gulf Coast of Florida, but has played as far from home as the Virgin Islands. We love our hometown Amore Pizzeria gigs, full of friends and familiar faces, but we are just as comfortable at a festival or a large community event. We've played some great shows in the past few weeks, all the way from Camp Jam near Orlando to a pre and post set in Orange Beach, Alabama, right around the corner from a Panic show. The Warehouse in Tallahassee was a highlight as well, and anybody who makes it to a night at Amore is in for an up-close, laid-back night of music, food, and drink. Hope to play for you soon...
